Stylish star Allu Arjun is the most successful star in Tollywood in the ‘non-Baahubali’ category. His Ala Vaikunthapurramulo which was released for Sankranthi became an industry hit. Bunny is currently busy with Sukumar’s Pushpa which is a rustic thriller based on red sandal smuggling. He is playing the role of a truck driver named Pushpa Raj in it.
According to sources, Bunny’s role will do shady activities in the film and hence gets confronted by a powerful cop. Though Sukumar considered numerous actors for this Police officer’s role, he is said to have finally zeroed on Tamil star Arya. Bunny and Arya share a past that dates back to Varudu in which the latter played the antagonist’s role.
Even though Varudu became a disaster, the last fight between Bunny and Arya on an abandoned chimney stood as a highlight. This made Sukumar consider Arya for the cop’s role in Pushpa and let’s hope that this combination materializes.
