Bellamkonda Srinivas made his grand entry into Tollywood with ‘Alludu Seenu’. His debut film became a hit and Srinivas went on to star in films which showcased him in massy avatars. Though he has got ease in dance and fights, his films remained duds at box office until ‘Rakshasudu’. The movie elevated villain’s sadism more than Bellamkonda’s heroism. His dream of becoming a mass star remained unfulfilled.
Srinivas is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘Alludu Adurs’ under the direction of ‘Kandireega’ fame Santosh Srinivas. It is a well-known fact that Srinivas has always roped in star heroines to feature opposite him in his films. While Samantha played the female lead in ‘Alludu Seenu’, Rakul played his lady love in ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’. Actresses like Pooja Hegde (Sakhshyam), Kajal Aggarwal (Seetha & Kavacham) and Anupama Parameswaran (Rakshasudu) are among the list of heroines who have acted along with him.
He is said to be playing an out and out mass character in ‘Alludu Adurs’ and Anu Immanuel, Nabha Natesh and Nidhi Agarwal are going to add the glamour quotient to the film. Other actors include Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood. Makers are planning to release it for Sankranthi 2021. Let’s hope this film would fetch him the mass image he is dreaming of.
