Political murders continue in Andhra Pradesh. Recently, a TDP activist was brutally attacked with a knife in Yerraguntla Palli of Tadipatri Mandal in Anantapur district. TDP worker Ranganayakulu who was seriously injured in the assault was taken to the Tadipatri government hospital for medical treatment. The incident led to the opposition leaders express their fears over the political murders of TDP activists for speaking out against the YSRCP and criticising the AP government. The Anantapur district TDP leaders have expressed shock over the murder attempt of a TDP leader in Yerraguntla Palli of Tadipatri, even before one could forget the brutal murder of the former sarpanch of Pedagarlapadu village of Dachepalle block in Guntur district.
Does ruling mean only destruction and murders?
The main opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh allege that the ruling of YSRCP government comprised of temple destruction and the political murders of TDP leaders. The TDP has strongly condemned the physical assault carried out on their party leader in Yerraguntla Palli of Tadipatri Mandal in Anantapur district. Meanwhile, TDP AP Chief Kinjarapu Atchannaidu lambasted the YSRCP’s indifferent attitude towards the murder of TDP activists and leaders on a daily basis in the state.
