Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Pan-Indian film Pushpa is directed by creative director Sukumar. Bunny and Sukku’s combination produced the famous Arya series earlier. Pushpa is their hat-trick outing which has Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.
Pushpa’s Maredumilli schedule was recently shelved after some of the team members contracted COVID on the sets. Sukku is currently helming the shoot in Hyderabad and completed its first schedule. Coming to the point, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sehupathi was initially roped in to play the antagonist’s role in the film.
But Vijay opted out due to his previous commitments and the names of Anil Kapoor, Sudeep, and Nara Rohit appeared on the cards suddenly. Finally, Sukku has reportedly confirmed Tamil hero Arya to lock horns with Bunny in Pushpa. Both Bunny and Arya share a past as they acted in Varudu before a decade.
Star comedian Sunil is also playing one of the villains in this rustic thriller. Tollywood’s top production house Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling it.
