The day all Indians have been eagerly awaiting is finally here. The mass inoculation drives to curb the deadly Covid19 pandemic that wreaked havoc around the globe and India will begin on the 16th of January with PM Modi launching the drive at 10:30 AM (auspicious time). Along with the vaccination, the PM will also inaugurate the Co-WIN application. It is learnt that over 3,00,000 people would be inoculated with the Covid19 vaccine on the first day. In around 3000 centres pan India, 100 people in each centre will be vaccinated as informed by the Centre and that their health will be monitored post-vaccination. Already 1,65,00,000 doses of the vaccine have reached all corners of the nation.
The government has informed that a 24-hour help-line will also be set up to clear the doubts among the public regarding the Covid19 vaccination, adding that all doubts and suspicions can be cleared by dialling 1075. After some days, the government mulls increasing the vaccination centres from 3000 to 5000.
