No one can forget the laugh riot Dhee which was released thirteen years ago. It was directed by Srinu Vaitla while Vishnu Manchu and Genelia D’Souza played the leading roles. Dhee provided the first hit for Vishnu’s ailing career back then.
Dhee’s template acted as a structure for many other films that were released after it. Even Srinu Vaitla followed the same format of Dhee in various films. After all these years, Dhee’s team is reportedly coming together again most probably for a sequel. None other than Vishnu tweeted about it on Friday.

Tollywood circles are abuzz that the sequel of Dhee will be a full-length comedy in the lines of its predecessor. Srinu Vaitla is desperately in the need of a hit and so does Vishnu. According to sources, the pre-production work of this film is already on the roll. Let’s hope that this combination will repeat the success of Dhee once again!
