Leading actor, Hindupur MLA and Chairman of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital Nandamuri Balakrishna requested people to participate in the blood donation camp on 2nd October on account of ‘Gandhi Jayanthi’. This blood donation camp is conducted for ‘Thalassemia’ patients by ‘NTR Trust’ and ‘Telangana Telugu Yuvatha’ collectively.
In a video posted by Balakrishna, he explained about ‘Thalassemia’ and described the importance of blood donation. He tried to debunk the myths surrounding blood donation and stressed the need for encouraging blood donation as we can’t produce artificial blood. Balayya requested people to donate blood and plasma which can save several lives. Let’s hope people come forward and make it a successful one. His noble appeal is very much appreciated by everyone.
