Veteran producer Chanti Addala and producer Natti Kumar are at loggerheads with each other for acquiring the rights of a movie. Recently, they even got into a cat-fight over the film starring Keerthy Suresh and Naveen Vijaya Krishna.
While Natti Kumar claims that Chanti Addala sold the movie to him, the latter insists that the former hasn’t paid him the agreed amount and hence he still has the rights to release it. However, Natti Kumar has filed a complaint regarding the issue at the Banjara Hills Police station.
“I gave a cheque for 9 lakhs to Chanti Addala for selling me the rights of ‘Inaa Ishtam Nuvvu’. Chanti hasn’t deposited the cheque deliberately and complained to Police against me with the malicious intent of asking me more money for the rights. That’s why I came to the Police Station to submit the evidences on the white-collar crimes that Chanti is committing. He sold the rights of ‘Inaa Ishtam Nuvvu’ to me first and changed its title and again sold it to another party. I thought of taking this issue to the ‘Film Chamber’ first, but as he filed a false complaint against me, I have also approached Police with the original facts”, said Natti Kumar.
