Rowdy Star Vijay Devarakonda proved that outsiders too can excel in this so-called nepotism infested film industry. Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam took his stardom to the skies. He is now acting in a Pan-Indian outing titled Fighter directed by dynamic director Puri Jagannadh.
Puri who bounced back with the success of iSmart Shankar had finished 40% of Fighter before the lockdown in Mumbai. He hasn’t resumed the shooting yet since it has to be done in the slums of Dharavi where the infection is widespread. So Puri is reportedly shifting the schedule to his favourite spot Bangkok.
Vijay Devarakonda who recently came from Europe is going to fly along with the team to Bangkok after Dussehra. He is playing the son of a don who contradicts his father in the film. Charmme Kaur is producing it and Karan Johar is presenting Fighter in Hindi markets. Bollywood star Suniel Shetty is donning an important role in the film.
