G Ashok is a talented director who made his debut with Allari Naresh’s ‘Aakasa Ramanna’ in 2010. His second film ‘Pilla Zamindar’ with Nani was a box office success. However, Ashok later experienced two flops with ‘Sukumarudu’ and ‘Chitrangada’. While his last outing ‘Bhaagamathie’ with Anushka became a blockbuster and earned him recognition in Bollywood too.
He is currently filming the Hindi remake of ‘Bhaagamathie’ named ‘Durgavati’ starring Bhumi Pednekar, which is being produced by Akshay Kumar and is going to release via Amazon Prime on December 11th. Ashok is reportedly offered another Hindi film named ‘UFF’ which is produced by Luv Ranjan. This is going to be a silent film in the lines of ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ and is going to hit the sets in coming January. TLN wishes G Ashok all the very best.
