Action hero Gopichand is experiencing a lean phase in his career right now. Films like Goutham Nanda, Oxygen, Chanakya, and Pantham made his graph hit the rock bottom. He is currently doing a film with ace director Maruthi which is produced by GA2 Pictures and UV Creations jointly.
Maruthi thought of roping in Sai Pallavi initially as the leading actress in this film which hasn’t worked out due to Rowdy Baby’s commitments. He wanted to go for hot beauty Raashi Khanna whereas Gopi rejected his plan outright.
Gopi and Raashi acted in disasters like Jil and Oxygen and the latter has super flops to her name such as Srinivasa Kalyanam, World Famous Lover, and Ayoga lately. This would have made Gopichand avoid her as he needs a hit desperately to revive his ailing career.
