Fake calls about bombs are worrying Tamil stars a lot. Suriya is a big star both in Tamil and Telugu film industries. Police received a call on Monday that there was a bomb kept at Suriya’s office in Alwarpet, Chennai. Police searched the premises with the help of a dog squad and found it to be a hoax call.
There seems to be a pattern behind these calls. The police received similar calls regarding Rajinikanth, Ajith, Mani Ratnam and Vijay and found nothing after conducting searches at their offices and residences. This fake call phenomenon has become a headache for the Police department lately and the film fraternity is requesting them to take swift action on those who are responsible for these calls. Police addressed media recently and informed them that a special team was formed to trace these callers and take them into custody. Even fan clubs have entered the scene and are demanding cops to catch these culprits as early as possible. Pressure is piling up on the police because high profile individuals are being bothered.
