Everyone thought that Pawan will continue his usual snail’s pace in his second innings. But Power Star’s signing spree shocked everyone as he pipelined five projects after Vakeel Saab. One of them is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum directed by Saagar K. Chandra.
This ego-drama is bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments. While the makers revealed that Pawan Kalyan is playing the role essayed by Biju Menon in the original, Rana Daggubati’s name was heavily speculated for the ex-havildar’s avatar played by Prithviraj. Followed by the Bhallaladeva’s silence on his role, Mass Maharaja and Nithin’s names have also appeared on the cards for a while.
Putting an end to all these speculations, Team Sithara Entertainments announced Rana’s inclusion into the project today. So as the combination is finally set, we hope that this remake will stand true to its Malayalam original in every aspect with an extra dose of Pawanism!
