Puneeth has a stellar craze in Sandalwood when it comes to the present generation of actors. He made his debut with Appu directed by Puri Jagannadh. It is the Kannada remake of Ravi Teja’s blockbuster Idiot. He went on to star in several super hits and is continuing as the most successful hero in the Kannada industry.
Puneeth Rajkumar’s latest film is titled Yuvarathnaa which is directed by Santhosh Anaddram. This family drama is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur while Sayyeshaa Saigal and Sonu Gowda are playing the female leads. Puneeth is entering Tollywood with the dubbed version of Yuvarathnaa.
Generally, Sandalwood stars stay away from Tollywood but the blockbuster success of K.G.F changed this scenario. Puneeth is reportedly thinking to establish himself as a star in Tollywood with Yuvarathnaa and TLN welcomes this Kannada Power Star to the Telugu Film Industry.
