The decisions taken by KCR has always been sensational. Be it new Acts or implementation of the schemes, of late there have been several changes in his decisions compared to his six-year rule. Many changes are seen like filling up 50,000 vacancies, going back on the orders to cultivate ‘Sanna Vadlu’, withdrawal of LRS and now PRC. There was no opposition to his decisions earlier but now he is taking steps to ensure there is no resentment.
The postal ballots in Dubbaka and GHMC can be considered danger bells for TRS. It is learnt that the CM is planning to take decisions in favour of government employees and that an announcement will be made on the Pay Revision Commission. It is learnt that the deadline would be extended for three months and an announcement will be made in this regard. He is likely to meet employees’ organizations in the new year.
In fact, the PRC was formed in May 2018. The CM took the decision after having a meeting with the employees in March 2018 and since then the extension was given on regular occasions, which has led to unrest among employees. The file was kept aside after it was said that employees were against KCR. Employees’ organizations say that the announcement is likely to made soon. After announcing 43 percent fitment, few decisions have changed the thinking of the government. The attitude of CM during the RTC strike led to a debate amongst employees and this led the CM to change his stance.
There have been criticisms following the announcement of filling up 50,000 vacancies. The government has been saying since the last four years that it would fill 50,000 posts and with the number being the same, social media is abuzz with criticism. There is an opinion in the party that if the same situation continues, the party would have to face severe situations in Nagarjuna Sagar and in the Warangal Corporation elections.
