Megastar Chiranjeevi praised KCR for devising relief measures to uplift the film industry and thanked him for opening the theatres. KCR announced various subsidies and relief initiatives to the film industry today in a meeting held with the film fraternity. He announced the GST reimbursement to small films and exempted theatres from the payment of minimum power demand charges. KCR also gave permission to exhibitors to revise the ticket prices and increase the number of shows.
Chiru took to his micro-blogging site and tweeted ‘Heartfelt Thanks to Hon’ble CM Shri. KCR Garu for the relief measures to the film industry. Trust that these compassionate measures surely will go a long way in reviving the industry badly hit by the pandemic and put it back on the path to progress’.
