Megastar Chiranjeevi started his second innings with a remake. His Khaidi No.150 is the remake of Tamil film Kaththi. He is currently acting in Koratala Siva’s Acharya and his son Ram Charan is also playing an extended cameo in it.
After Acharya, Chiru has given his nod to act in two remakes. He is going to act in the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer under the direction of his fan turned director VV Vinayak. After Lucifer, he will commence Vedhalam’s remake. It is directed by mega flop director Meher Ramesh. Rumour is floating that Megastar is now eyeing on Yennai Arindhaal, a Kollywood film starring Ajith directed by Gautham Menon. It was released in 2015 and went on to become a cult hit and even dubbed into Telugu as Yentavaadu Gaani.
Chiranjeevi is said to have been deeply impressed with the film and wants to remake it. Star producer AM Ratnam who produced the original is reportedly producing it in Telugu too.
