Megastar who took a decade long hiatus to test his luck in politics returned to films with ‘Khaidi No.150’. His latest Pan-Indian outing ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ turned out to be a mediocre success. Chiru is now shifting gear by signing numerous projects. He is currently busy with Koratala Siva’s ‘Acharya’ and will move onto the sets of Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. Directed by VV Vinayak the movie will go on floors from January next year.
Chiru has recently given his nod to work with ‘Super flop’ director Meher Ramesh owing to his personal relationship with him. It is a remake of Tamil hit ‘Vedhalam’ which starred ‘Thala’ Ajith. This film will most probably start from the coming August and will be shot in the backdrop of Kolkata. Meher Ramesh is said to be on the location hunt for now. Sai Pallavi will reportedly play Chiru’s sister in this ‘Masala’ pot-boiler. Mani Sharma’s son Sagar is composing tunes for this film. Let’s wait and see whether Meher Ramesh who is known for his meaningless cinema ends his disaster streak with Megastar’s flick or not.
