Two Indian Army jawans Ryada Mahesh and Praveen Kumar Reddy hailing from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh respectively lost their lives in a shoot out with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Machil sector. Jawan Mahesh is a native of Komanpalli village in Velpur Mandal of Nizamabad district in Telangana, while Jawan Praveen Kumar Reddy is from Reddyvaripalli village in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
According to the Indian Army, the soldiers lost their lives in a late-night exchange of fire with terrorists as they partook in a combing operation after suspicious movement along the border was detected. A pall of gloom descended in both the villages of Komanpalli and Reddyvaripalli in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh respectively.
