Student of the Year was the film that put Alia Bhatt on the top bracket as it was the debut film of the Star Actress. The film was a big hit and gave superstars to Hindi cinema in the form of Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.
But did you even know that Alia Bhatt was not the first choice for the film. It was indeed Kiara Advani who was the first choice for the film. In one of her interviews, Kiara said that she had auditioned for the role of Shanaya in Student Of The Year but the role eventually went to Alia Bhatt.
The actress did not get the part. She had also auditioned for several projects for Yash Raj Films. But Kiara Advani eventually made her debut. Kiara lost nothing as she has some of the biggest hits in her kitty as of now.
