Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi got inoculated for Corona at AIIMS in the national capital on Monday. It is known that the second phase of the corona vaccination drive began today pan India for the elderly aged above 60 and for those with critical illnesses aged between 45 and 59 years. PM Modi was administered the indigenously developed Covaxin, which has been manufactured by Bharat Biotech. Interestingly, PM Modi was seen sporting a traditional Assamese Gamcha and was vaccinated by sisters from Kerala and Puducherry. On the other hand, Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu who is on a visit to Tamil Nadu got vaccinated for Covid at a medical college in Chennai. The Vice President took to Twitter to announce that he had been vaccinated.
