Looks like the government is worried over opposition parties visiting the Ramatheertham temple site, as they fear the public may notice their incompetency in handling the situation. With several cases being filed by the AP Government following Chandrababu’s visit, a clear signal has been sent. In this scenario, the plans of BJP and JanaSena Party to hold ‘Chalo Ramatheertham’ has been foiled completely with the security being beefed and entry blocked for all political parties, in addition to arrests being made.
The AP Police have completely foiled the plans of BJP and JanaSena Party from holding the ‘Chalo Ramatheertham Dharma Yatra’ on Tuesday. Several leaders of the JanaSena and the BJP have been house arrested and heavy security has been deployed at the BJP Party Office located on the beach road in Visakhapatnam. Many security personnel were seen stationed inside and outside the BJP office in Vizag.
According to plans, the BJP and JanaSena’s ‘Chalo Ramatheertham Dharma Yatra’ was to begin at 8 AM from the BJP office to Ramatheertham temple in Vizianagaram district. A call to this extent was sounded by BJP AP President Somu Veerraju. Since the BJP leaders have been house arrested and no permit has been granted the plans to hold the rally have been cancelled. On the other hand, the BJP cadre is on their way to Ramatheertham by evading police presence.
