It is known to all how the sand policy of the government is full of flaws and leading to inconvenience to all. Even Jagan has understood that the sand policy would bring a bad name to the party. Hence the policy was changed within a year. There are allegations that the new policy also is with defects. There are allegations that the YSR congress activists were looting the sand wherever it is available.
BJP state president Somu Veerraju addressed a press conference in Kurnool. He said that they will be maintaining equal distance between TDP and YSR Congress and will not align with these two parties in future. He alleged that the YS Jagan government was doing injustice in the water projects of Rayalaseema. He said justice to Rayalaseema will be through BJP only. These are his regular comments… but…surprisingly, he praised one thing in the rule of Chandrababu. He said that the sand was easily and cheaply available during the rule of Chandrababu. He alleged that after the new policy by Jagan, the prices of sand are going on increasing and the YCP leaders were looting the people. He mocked stating that gold is available in the state but not the sand. It has become a topic of discussion that the BJP leader who always used to target Chandrababu has praised his policy.
