Atchannaidu Kinjarapu, the Telugu Desam Party President in Andhra Pradesh has been taken into custody by police in connection with a criminal intimidation case. It is known that the TDP leader’s spouse is contesting for the post of Sarpanch in his native of Nimmada in the upcoming Gram Panchayat polls. It is being learned that Atchannaidu Kinjarapu had been arrested by the police and a case filed for having threatened and intimidated Appanna, a candidate backed by the ruling YSRCP to withdraw his nomination. Atchannaidu has been taken to the Kotabommali Police Station in Srikakulam district. TDP Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu condemned the arrest of Atchannaidu Kinjarapu.
