High tension in Tirupati has begun, as police have apprehended several TDP leaders who were planning to take out a ‘Dharma Parirakshana Yatra’ to protest against the vandalization of Hindu temples. The police arrested several leaders including AP TDP chief Kinjarapu Atchannaidu. However, the AP TDP Chief made it clear that the ‘Dharma Parirakshana Yatra’ would continue no matter what, despite the hurdles and roadblocks they face from the ruling party. He went onto say that house arrests and police deployment will not deter them from taking out the yatra. Atchannaidu lambasted the police for arresting TDP leaders under violation of rules even before having initiated the public rally.
Appalled that @APPOLICE100 has arrested a senior politician like Kala Venkata Rao at the whim of a charlatan who lowers the dignity of his office everyday. The YSRCP is using police to settle political scores. Are there no depths this shameless Govt won't sink to? pic.twitter.com/ixWxtb813j
