We all know that legendary director K Raghavendra Rao is back with a sequel to his classic hit Pelli Sandadi. This family romantic entertainer which was released in 1996 stormed the box office and established the career of Srikanth. No one can forget the magical music composed by MM Keeravani and oodles of glamour dished out by Deepti Bhatnagar and Ravali in the film.
After 24 years, KRR is making a sequel to it and transferred the direction duties to Gowri Ronanki while he will be supervising her. He is introducing Srikanth’s son Roshan as the main lead in the film. Even though KRR can simply name this sequel as Pelli Sandadi 2, he christened it Pelli SandaD which has become the topic of interest for film buffs.
Coming to the point, the alphabet D holds a great significance as the name of one of the heroines in the film starts with it and her character is going to drive the story. The makers have already finalized Malavika Nair to play one of the heroines while the search is still on for the second lucky girl. MM Keeravani is roped in to reprise the magic once again with his music to be heard in the celluloid.
