After the war of biggies at the Sankranthi box office, three small films are gearing up to lock horns with each other on the same date. Tollywood’s first Zombie film Zombie Reddy directed by Prashanth Varma is all set to release on February 5th. The recently revealed trailer of this film garnered huge attention from cine lovers.
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya made its lead actor Naveen Polishetty amass considerable reputation among the youth and Vyjayanthi Movies is backing his upcoming project Jathi Ratnalu. Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Rahul Ramakrishna are sharing the screen space with Naveen in this comedy-drama. The makers of this film decided to face the litmus test in theatres on the 5th of February.
The third film which came into this February race is mega nephew Vaishnav Tej’s Uppena. It is lying in the cans for so long and Mythri Movie Makers have entered the competition since the aura of Sankranthi films would be gone by then. Krithi Shetty is playing the female lead in this Buchi Babu Sana directorial.
But the analysts in the industry are suggesting the makers to plan the release of these films one after the other in a week’s difference. This plan gives breathing space to the films and let’s see whether the makers agree to this amicable solution or not.
