Naarappa is a film which is highly anticipated not only by Victory Venkatesh’s fans but also by Telugu movie lovers. Srikanth Addala is showcasing Venky in a rustic villager avatar in this action drama which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Asuran. Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu are producing it under Suresh Productions and V Creations jointly. National award-winning actress Priyamani is playing the role of Sundaramma in it.
The team had already completed 60 days of shooting before the imposition of lockdown. Naarappa was shot in Uravakonda and rural Tamil Nadu in the earlier schedules. The makers said that the shooting is going in and around Hyderabad and Venky started filming for it along with Priyamani, Rao Ramesh and Rajeev Kanakala. Mani Sharma is composing the music for it. Naarappa will be a do or die film for Srikanth Addala whose career hit the rock bottom with continuous failures. With this schedule, the unit will finish 80 per cent of the filming and they are hoping to wrap the remaining part as early as possible. There are no chances for Naarappa to be in Sankranti race.
