KGF fame Prashanth Neel launched his Pan-Indian mafia thriller Salaar in Hyderabad recently. This high-budget flick is bankrolled by Hombale Films which produced KGF Series. Prashanth considered Bollywood babe Disha Patani as the leading lady in Salaar initially.
He asked Disha to spare 60 days continuously for the film to which the latter said no due to her commitments. Prashanth wants to complete Salaar in a single schedule as he is keen on releasing it for Dussehra. This made him leave Disha and talk to Shruti Haasan who is more than happy to provide her bulk dates to Salaar. The team is reportedly in talks with another damsel also alongside Shruti. Salaar will go onto the sets in the first week of February.
