Rakul Preet Singh started her career with a bang in Tollywood. Venkatadri Express became a super success at the box office which made Rakul bag big offers opposite top stars. She acted with NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Ram in TFI. But destiny had different plans for her.
Apart from acting with young heroes, Rakul also paired with seniors like Nagarjuna and Ravi Teja. As success lent a deaf ear for her in Tollywood, she tried her luck in Kollywood by acting opposite Suriya and Karthi. Failures never left her even in Chennai.
Constant failures coupled with competition from a newer lot like Rashmika Mandanna, Keerthy Suresh, Pooja Hegde, Nabha Natesh, and Mehreen faded Rakul’s career. This made her concentrate totally on Hindi and Tamil films and she has six films from both the languages in her kitty for now. At least four out of these six movies will release in 2021 and she is pinning lots of hopes on them.
Coming to Tollywood, Rakul is currently busy with Nithin’s Check. It is directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and Rakul is sharing the screen space with Priya Varrier in it. She is also acting in mega nephew Vaishnav Tej’s second film under the direction of Krish. If sources are to be believed, Rakul has also bagged the golden opportunity to play one of the female leads in Pawan’s Virupaksha.
TLN hopes that 2021 will turn the fortunes for Rakul and gift her great success.
