‘iSmart Shankar’ is an action thriller that bought back the lost glory to both its hero and director. It gifted a massive hit for Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh who were desperate for a success back in 2019. Dynamic director Puri Jagannadh showed Ram in a true blue desi avatar which made him close to the masses. A big production house from Bollywood which constantly searches to bag rights of South Indian blockbusters bought the remake rights of this movie.
Even though Ranbir Kapoor’s name was first speculated for the protagonist’s role, the makers zeroed in on Ranveer Singh now. Along with ‘iSmart Shankar’, several South Indian films such as Katthi, Vikram Veda, HIT, Jersey and Ala Vaikunthapurramulo are in queue to be remade in Hindi. Audiences are sure that Ranveer Singh can do 100% justice to the role essayed by Ram in Telugu.
