According to YSRCP leaders, Jagan is considered as a god by the people who voted him. He is a humble person for YSRCP leaders. Well, these are in the past. At present, there has been a change in the script by god and it is totally against Jagan. The YSRCP leaders who are in a helpless situation are speaking their mind in the public. Yesterday, if Vizianagaram district Srungavarapukota MLA Srinivas Rao faced a tongue slip, today the Deputy Chief Minister Narayanswamy too made the same mistake.
A Krishna district YSRCP MLA speaking about Jagan said, “How can I tell you our pain. We can’t do anything except for hearing what he says in the meetings. People, however, are poking us with their questions. Our situation is so pathetic.” The MLA added that though he spoke in a refined language, the YSRCP supremo laced his words in a stream of expletives.
Srungavarapukota MLA Srinivas Rao said that it was Jaganmohan Reddy, who alone can provide a corrupt government. This led to the public even applaud him. However, no efforts were made to correct his words. They might have thought that nothing would happen as the words were spoken in a flow. While Deputy CM Narayana Swamy alleged that Jagan was looting people and even went onto to liken people with dogs and that the opposition was barking like dogs.
Even though leaders knew about the extent of corruption happening in the state and public money being looted, their hands are tied. The sand mafia has been looting money in the name of sand policy. Narayanswamy knows this as Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy heads the sand empire.
In the name of reverse tendering, work formats have been changed and contracts have been given to CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s friend Mega Reddy. The highlight among these is the monopoly over the liquor business which is quite contrary to the promise that alcohol would be prohibited. How can people say corruption less government when such irregularities are going on? On the other hand, YSRCP MLA Roja has gone silent on the attacks against women in the state. Maybe she is afraid that the truth would come out if she speaks.
