In a tragic incident, an ill-fated bus of Dinesh Travels from Hyderabad’s Sheikh Pet area carrying 30 passengers, veered off the road into a gorge in the Araku Ghat section in Ananthagiri Mandal of Vizag Agency. According to the police, eight people were killed and 15 others were injured in the mishap as the bus plunged reportedly at a speed of 50-6-Kmph. It is being stated that the bus driver failed to judge a hairpin bend and lost control of the vehicle resulting in the tragedy. The accident took place at the fifth turning point in Dumuku of Ananthagiri Mandal.
Reacting to the accident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of passengers and expressed shock over the incident.
