Deputy CM Pushpa Sreevani hailed AP CM YS Jagan for having begun a new era of people-friendly rule in the state. Though there is a serious economic crisis, an inspirational administration was being provided. Deputy Chief Minister Pamula Pushpa Sreevani lauded AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy for having initiated a new era of people-centric administration, despite the economic crisis in the state. The Deputy CM had participated in the State Formation Day celebrations as the chief guest at Ananda Gajapati Auditorium in Vizianagaram. She first garlanded the statue of Telugu Talli and hoisted the national flag and took salute from the police.
Will stand up again
Pushpa Sreevani said that despite the state being divided into two and losing a great capital like Hyderabad, we have sustained. During the previous government, the Formation Day was also not celebrated. She said that the Chief Minister set up a village secretary system as per the aspirations of Mahatma Gandhi to have ‘Grama Swarajya’, adding that the system brought people closer to the government and all the services were being provided at the village level.
Top priority to Education and Health
The Deputy CM said that the government’s top priority is education and health, citing the government Medical College in Vizianagaram, the Multi-Specialty Hospital at Parvathipuram and the Engineering College in Kurupam as examples for the same. She said that the government brought the Disha Act for the safety of the women and has become an inspiration to other states.
Sreevani said that she would do her best to develop the district in all possible ways with the help of the ministers, community representatives and officials of the district. The program was organized by district incharge collector GC Kishore. Vizianagaram MP Bellana Chandrasekhar and MLC Dr Penmatsa Suryanarayana Raju were also present. The cultural events organized on this occasion impressed the guests.
