Senior cine journalist Prabhu is directing a controversial biopic named Ram Gopal Varma. This is based on the life of maverick director RGV. Recently the film’s team uploaded a song on YouTube which was found to be missing strangely. Was it deleted or is it just a publicity stunt?
Generally videos uploaded once in Youtube will remain permanently unless the video sharing website removes them. The makers of ‘Ram Gopal Varma’ got the song ‘Varma Varma Varma….Oh Ram Gopal Varma’ released by Tammareddy Bharadwaja. It amassed seven thousand views on its first day until it vanished on the evening of September 3rd.
When the director of the film Prabhu contacted the audio company, they told him that a South American gang has hacked the song and deleted it. They assured him that they will rectify the issue in two days which actually took two weeks. The song which appeared after two weeks got a staggering 54k views in three days. It has been stuck there with no further increase in views since then.
Prabhu has taken it to the notice of YouTube officials and is waiting to hear from them.
