Telugu Desam Party MP Kinjarapu Rammohan has alleged that AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi only to save himself from the illegal assets’ cases. He recalled that Jaganmohan Reddy himself disclosed in the election affidavit that he had 31 cases including 11 CBI cases. Any chief minister would inform people about the topics of discussion with the Prime Minister but CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s silence is raising doubts, said Rammohan Naidu.
They said they will question Centre…
The TDP MP reminded Jaganmohan Reddy of his claim that he would get special status to the state by bending the Centre’s neck if people give him 25 MP seats. He questioned the chief minister whether he had asked the Centre about the dues under Polavaram project, which is going on at a snail’s pace. Rammohan Naidu even criticised the AP CM for failing to get GST dues from the Centre. He also recalled that the State was not getting Rs. 350 Crore provided to the seven backward districts for the last two years.
No talk of Visakha Railway Zone
The TDP MP lashed at the YSRCP chief alleging that he was failing to achieve Visakhapatnam Railway zone promised by the Central government. He further questioned why Anantapur-Amaravati Expressway works were stopped, and why there aren’t any talks regarding the Dugarajapatnam Port. Stating that the TDP government allotted lands to the prestigious educational institutions and also completed some buildings, the MP questioned whether the chief minister asked funds for these. There was no mention about the bifurcation of corporations under Schedule 9 and 10 worth Rs. 1.97 Lakh Crore in the CM’s tour, alleged Rammohan Naidu.
Always looking for loans
MP Rammohan Naidu alleged that the YSRCP chief bankrupted the State. He expressed concerns that to get additional loans, the chief minister was trying to fix meters to the agriculture pump sets, which is a death knell for farmers. He found fault with the silence of CM Jaganmohan Reddy on the MSP to paddy stating that the Centre had announced increased MSP for six crops but ignored the paddy, which is vastly grown by the AP farmers. Rammohan Naidu recalled that YSRCP MPs, who should have fought for special status have taken up protest in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi alleging that there was corruption in Amaravati lands and also demanded CBI inquiry. He questioned whether a single MP of the party displayed placards in Parliament for special status. Rammohan Naidu alleged that the AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy mortgaged the interests of the State and fell on the feet of PM Modi for withdrawal of cases.
