Akhil Akkineni became an actor even before he turned one year in ‘Sisindri’. His bubbly looks and his performance in that film attracted audiences. They waited eagerly for his debut as a hero. He acted in a guest role in ‘Manam’ and even shot for an ad film before his debut. Akhil’s first film was named after him and was produced by his friend ‘Nithin’. It flopped miserably at the box office. After ‘Akhil’, he went on to star in ‘Hello’ and ‘Mister Majnu’. These films also failed to entertain audience and Akhil is still waiting for a decent hit that can establish his career.
He is currently filming for ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ under the direction of ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar and has pinned lots of hopes on it. Generally, successors of star heroes accrue fame movie after movie, becoming stars themselves. But Akhil’s career is exactly opposite to it as his craze and career graph are on a declining mode. Luck is playing hide and seek with him and he is extremely confident that ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ will give him that elusive hit.
Akhil’s recent announcement about his upcoming film with Surender Reddy attracted Akkineni fans. Surender Reddy who is known for his racy screenplay and hilarious comedy is presenting Akhil in a stylish spy avatar in this film. Fans are brooding that if Akhil’s first movie would have been with a director like Surender Reddy, he would be a star now. Better late than never, he is now in the safe hands of Surender Reddy who is on a high after the success of ‘Sye Ra Narasimha Reddy’. All the best Akhil.
