Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikuntapuram lo’ which was released for Sankranti went on to become an industry hit. It surpassed the collections of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and became the highest grosser in TFI among non-Baahubali films. Trivikram Srinivas finished his hat-trick with Bunny with it. He also completed his hattrick with Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the past. Sources say that he is now in talks with Mahesh for their hat-trick combination.
Trivikram has been trying to do a film with Mahesh Babu for long. The project is not materializing due to Superstar’s previous commitments. Now Guruji is going to start a new project with NTR. A title called ‘Ayinanu Poyi Ravale Hastinaku’ is in circulation for this film. Regular shooting for this film is going to commence after Tarak wraps up his part in ‘RRR’. In the meanwhile, Trivikram is penning a script for Mahesh. The superstar is also said to have given his nod to Trivikram’s story and the team has registered a title called ‘Seetharamapuram’ for this film. It will be based on a 1967 film named ‘Pranamitrulu’ directed by P Pulliah. ANR and Jaggaiah starred in this emotional drama.
The plot of this film revolves around the friendship and emotions between a rich man and his servant. There were several films which came with the similar plot in the past. Even Rajinikanth’s ‘Annamalai’ also sports the same plot, but Trivikram is going to treat it with a modern touch and present in a new avatar. Mahesh is now busy with ‘Sarkaru Vari Paata’ under the direction of Parasuram. He has also given his nod to team up with Rajamouli after he finished SVP.
As Rajamouli is busy with ‘RRR’ which will take a long while, Trivikram is planning to complete ‘Seetharamapuram’ in this gap. Let’s see whether this hat-trick combo of Mahesh and Trivikram materializes or not.
