Nithin ended his flop streak with Venky Kudumula’s Bheeshma which was released in the first half of this year. He is now busy with Rang De under the direction of Venky Atluri in which Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead.
This Ishq hero has already given his nod to act in the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit Andhadhun. Nithin is going to play the role of a blind guy in this film which was essayed by Ayushmann Khurrana in the original. The antagonist role played by Tabu in the original is being helmed by milky beauty Tamannaah. Lady Superstar Nayanthara was approached for this role firstly for which she demanded a whopping paycheck of Rs 12 crores. This made the producers settle for Tamannaah and Nabha Natesh is playing the female lead against Nithin which was played by Radhika Apte in the original.
Director Merlapaka Gandhi is said to have toned down the boldness quotient in the Telugu version as opposed to the heavy dose in the original. As Tollywood audiences are not open to such kind of scenes that take place between Ayushmann and Radhika in the Hindi version, the team will film the chemistry between Nithin and Nabha in a lighter vein. It is produced by Nithin’s father Sudhakar Reddy.
