Adityanath Das IAS has taken charge as the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh. As the tenure of Nilam Sawhney concluded on December 31st the new Chief Secretary was handed over the responsibilities officially. The IAS official who served as the Principal Secretary in the Water Resources Department has been appointed the Chief Secretary following the orders by AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Meanwhile, J Syamala Rao who has been serving as the MAUD Secretary has been posted as Officer on Special Duty in the Water Resources Department. On the other hand, 1988 batch IAS officer Y Srilakshmi has been appointed as the Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development.
