Star writer Kona Venkat’s last project as a producer, Nishabdham became a disaster. People rejected it outright as they missed Kona mark comedy in it. This gave a rude shock to this 55-year-old wordsmith and made him go back to his writing pad.
He has launched an out and out comedy entertainer named Rowdy Baby in Vizag recently. Sundeep Kishan and Neha Shetty are playing the leading roles in it. Comedy director G. Nageswara Reddy is helming the megaphone for Rowdy Baby.
Speaking to the occasion, producer Kona said ‘It’s become hard to shoot in Hyderabad these days due to the location costs and permissions involved. That’s why we have decided to shoot the whole film in Andhra as there are no location charges here. Rowdy Baby will become the first flick to be entirely shot in AP. We are sure that it will entice the Tollywood audiences like Venky and Dhee’.
