In a career spanning over 40 years, Megastar worked with almost every top technician in the industry. He still maintains cordial relations with all of them and Mani Sharma is one among them. Chiru and Mani’s combination was a sensation once and his tunes accentuated Chiru’s dancing prowess to the next level. Now when Mani Sharma lost his prime to the younger music lot, Chiranjeevi’s recommendation of Mani for ‘Acharya’ caught the attention of industry and media.
He even went to the extent to recommend Mani’s son Mahati Swarasagar for his upcoming film with Meher Ramesh. This is the remake of Tamil film ‘Vedhalam’. Sagar proved his mettle with films like ‘Chalo’ and ‘Bheeshma’. Chiru’s decision to work with father-son duo is now the talk of tinsel town.
This trend of working with father-son duo is not actually new for Chiranjeevi. G Sathyamurthy has penned story and dialogues to many super hit films of Chiru. His son Devi Sri Prasad composed music to his blockbusters such as ‘Shankardada M.B.B.S’ and ‘Khaidi No.150’. While Sundaram master choreographed many songs in Chiranjeevi’s initial days, his sons Prabhu Deva and Raju Sundaram created signature dance moves in many movies since the 90s.
Chiranjeevi’s come back film ‘Khaidi No.150’ has two songs choreographed by Sekhar master and megastar gave an acting chance to Sekhar’s son in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. This proves that Chiranjeevi stood as a bridge between two generations and let’s hope Mani and Sagar give their best to Chiranjeevi’s upcoming films.
