Allu Ramalingaiah is one of the greatest actors that Telugu Film Industry has ever produced. He is particularly known for his impeccable comedy timing. Even though he left us in 2004, we can never forget his roles and fun-filled mannerisms. Allu is not only popular for playing comedy but also essayed various other characters too. His subtle emotional performances with a touch of villainy have proved that he is a versatile actor.
He breathed life into characters penned by writers and directors with his acting prowess. Allu Ramalingaiah has acted in more than 1000 films which include many classics of Telugu cinema. Apart from acting, he was also renowned for practising Homeopathy. He even treated many of his co-actors alongside normal public. Ramalingaiah also launched ‘Geetha Arts’ which is one of the leading movie houses in India. Today is his 99th birth anniversary.
His son, ace producer Allu Arvind started the construction activity for ‘Allu Studios’ today and recalled his father’s contribution to his life.
