Lady director B.V Nandini Reddy achieved great success with her debut film Ala Modalaindi in 2011. Her second film Jabardasth was a disaster and Nandini was nowhere to be seen until Kalyana Vaibhogame in 2016. This Naga Shaurya starrer became a decent grosser which ushered new breathe into Nandini’s career.
Her biggest hit to date is Oh! Baby starring Samantha Akkineni. This proved the real stamina of Nandini and she tried to reprise Sam in her upcoming film also. This project hasn’t materialized due to unknown reasons and Nandini went after Naga Chaitanya to convince him for a project.
This project was said to be produced by Swapna Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner and the team has even sat for story discussions. Luck lent a deaf ear to Nandu this time too as Chaitu never confirmed anything concrete.
So with practically nothing in hand, Nandini resorted to a romantic entertainer with Sundeep Kishan produced by People Media Factory lately. Nandu is trying to rope a star actress for the heroine’s role as it has more weight in the film. Let’s see how this film fares to the ailing career of Sundeep Kishan.
