Pooja Hegde is surfing the success wave lately with consecutive hits like ‘Aravinda Sameta’, ‘Maharshi’, ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ and ‘Ala Vaikunta Puramlo’. She started her career in Tollywood in 2014 with ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ and reached the numero uno position in six years. She has acted in nine films till now and the interesting fact is most of them are with mega family heroes.
She entered the mega compound with Varun Tej’s debut film ‘Mukunda’ and continued it with Bunny’s ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’. Her dance moves with Bunny became very popular leading to her getting featured in an item song in Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’. Her decision to perform the item song being a top star amazed not only industry circles but also common audiences. Pooja revealed later that the decision was taken out of respect she had for director Sukumar and Ram Charan and it yielded her amazing results.
Her ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ with Varun Tej which was released last year became a success. Pooja teamed up with Bunny for the second time for ‘Ala Vaikunta Puramlo’ and this film went on to create industry records. Now grapevine is Harish Shankar finalized Pooja for the female lead in his upcoming film with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. This upcoming film unlike Gabbar Singh will be based on societal issues. Harish showcased Pooja glamorously in his previous movies ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ and ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’. Fans are eager to see how he is going to utilize her glamour in the upcoming film.
