Even though all his films were debacles, there is a rumour in Film Nagar circles that Megastar is giving a chance to him. Mega fans are now scratching their heads as to why their favourite actor is entertaining the director.
Meher Ramesh hasn’t helmed megaphone after ‘Shadow’. Recent tweet reply from Pawan Kalyan to Meher Ramesh’s wishes for his birthday confirms this as the former congratulated him on bagging the chance to direct megastar. Industry sources say that Meher Ramesh has got great narrative skills which made stars believe in his scripts, and that he has used them again to impress Chiranjeevi this time.
This film is the remake of super hit Tamil film ‘Vedhalam’. It was a sensational hit in Tamil which has loads of action and sister sentiment. The original was directed by mass director Siva. Since this is a remake, fans are feeling a sense of security that there will not be much work for Ramesh beyond copying scene to scene. But doubts still persist in the majority of them with several calling the decision a ‘big risk’ taken by Chiru.
‘Billa’ was also a remake of Ajith’s Tamil movie and Ramesh failed to hit the mark with it. Now as Meher Ramesh is remaking another Ajith’s movie, mega fans are worrying about this flop sentiment. Meher Ramesh is a close relative of Chiranjeevi and sources say this is the reason why Chiranjeevi entertained him.
