The Tamil film industry has come up to support the people in the Covid second wave. Celebrities in particular are queuing up to make donations. Recently, superstar Rajinikanth has handed over Rs. 50 lakhs to Chief Minister Stalin. While heroes Surya and Karthi donated Rs 1 crore, Ajith and Siva Karthikeyan donated 25 lakhs each to the Chief Minister. Producer and Editor Mohan along with his sons Jayam Ravi and Jayam Raja donated Rs. 10 lakhs.
Many actors and technicians from the Kollywood industry have also died of the coronavirus. With this, movie celebrities are making donations to help the victims. Many are suggesting that other heroes, producers, and directors should also come forward and make donations. However, the Telugu film industry is lagging behind in this regard.
