Rakul Preet Singh’s debut Tollywood film Venkatadri Express became a super hit. It made her act with top stars like NTR in Nannaku Prematho, Ram Charan in Dhruva, and Mahesh Babu in Spyder. As her craze started diminishing due to a string of flops, Rakul concentrated on bagging Bollywood projects.
Her De De Pyaar De with Ajay Devgan became a blockbuster in 2019. This made Ajay reprise her in his upcoming film Mayday starring Amitabh Bachchan in one of the lead roles. Apart from it, Ajay recommended her for another film named Thank God directed by Indra Kumar.
Siddharth Malhotra is sharing screen space with Ajay Devgan in it. With such strong support of Ajay, there is no doubt about Rakul going to places in the Hindi film industry. ‘Thank God will start rolling from January 21st and we are super excited to start the project’, said Indra Kumar.
