The process of shifting the capital is going on smoothly. The government wants to start administration from Visakhapatnam from April 13. The authorities are identifying the open lands and vacant buildings in the City of Destiny to shift the offices. The authorities have decided to use the fourth floor of Dwaraka bus stand in Visakha as RTC office. There are chances of acquiring the lands belonging to Waltair Club and utilising that as Governors Bungalow hence that is the reason why the SIT has speeded up its inquiry.
Minister Botsa announced that the administration would be started from Visakhapatnam from Telugu New Year Ugadi. He is of the opinion that all legal implications will be eliminated within this period. Minister Botsa made it clear that the government and staff were ready to come to Visakhapatnam. This means that arrangements are being made to move all the administrative offices to the capital Visakhapatnam in the next three months. Following the verdict in the High Court, it seems that the capital will soon move to Visakhapatnam.
As many as 93 petitions have been filed against the shifting of capital from Amaravati. The court has taken all these as one and taking up the hearing on a daily basis. The government expects that the hearing would complete within two months and a favourable judgment would also come hence all the arrangements are being made in Visakhapatnam. Going by the words of Minister Botsa, it appears that the administration will be taken up from Visakha starting from Ugadi.
It is said that the CM’s camp office would be shifted first. If the CM’s camp office is shifted first, the other offices can be shifted one after another. The government is also going in a planned manner. The government wants to shift the CM camp office on the day of Judgment and the comments of Botsa Satyanarayana are strengthening this. It is learnt that CM wants to run administration from Visakha on the occasion of Ugadi festival.
