KGF director Prashanth Neel launched his Pan-Indian mafia thriller, Salaar with Prabhas in Hyderabad recently. Hombale Films who made KGF series is bankrolling this project. The team is currently busy with the pre-production stuff and the regular shooting of Salaar will start in February.
Prashanth considered the names of Disha Patani and Katrina Kaif for the leading lady’s role in the film initially. But he has reportedly fixed Shruti Haasan finally owing to her presence in both South and North markets and relatively lesser paycheque than the Bollywood bombshells.
Shruti is riding high on the success of Krack lately. If she gets to star with Prabhas in Salaar, there would be no looking back for her. Let’s wish her all the very best.
